Easy Vegan “Honey” Garlic Sauce (gluten-free option)

You need to make my new favourite kitchen staple - sticky, garlicky, homemade vegan “Honey” Garlic Sauce!

Add this recipe to your meal prep list for the week! It’s perfect for cauliflower “wings”, use it to marinade tofu cubes, or on top of a rice & veggie bowl.

Honey Garlic was always my first choice for wings when I was a kid, so I created this vegan version by using an easy swap for honey - date syrup or maple syrup.

cauliflower wings how-to:

To make the honey garlic cauliflower wings that I included in my Instagram post, toss the cooked (and optionally breaded) wings in the sauce and then bake them a second time on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 10 minutes at 400-425°F (depending on your oven) and toss halfway through cooking time. We garnished with a sprinkling of black & white sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions before serving.

  2. Add garlic, and cook for 3-4 minutes - don’t let it burn!

  4. Enjoy the sauce right away, or transfer it to an airtight glass storage container for later.
