Lately I have been hooked on The Edgy Veg channel on YouTube where Candice Hutchings veganizes childhood cravings and nostalgic comfort foods. Candice, a fellow Torontonian, is someone who has been a huge inspiration to me within the local vegan community.
The Edgy Veg copycat veganized recipes include menu items from Starbucks, Taco Bell and McDonalds. You will also find healthy dishes and recipes for holiday favourites, as well as natural beauty hacks too.
This month The Edgy Veg is hosting a 30 Day Vegan Challenge, which is a fun, easy and collaborative way to get started with the vegan lifestyle. I love this idea as an introduction to veganism. This is an excellent way to learn about your health, how to reduce your carbon footprint and find more compassion for other living beings. To get you started on the challenge Candice has provided resources for delicious meat-free, dairy-free and egg-free meals, so you will not be left wondering what to eat. You can learn more about the challenge here.
I super am excited to be bringing you a round up of my 5 favourite recipes from The Edgy Veg library of online recipes and food hacks. You can check out Candice's drool-worthy recipe page here.
