Cook restaurant dishes at grocery prices with ingredients delivered to your door!
I am thrilled to announce that I have teamed up with Toronto's newest food delivery service, Let's Nom, to offer a selection of my recipes with all of the ingredients you need, delivered right to your door and ready to cook! As always, my recipes are 100% vegan, simple to make for home cooks at any skill level, and most importantly, delicious.
With no subscription required, Let's Nom takes the guess work out of creating a healthy meal in the comfort of your home. I've worked closely with Let's Nom to select clean and organic ingredients and products that I personally love and use in my kitchen, like Organic Virgin Coconut Oil from Silkeny and Organic 21 Grains Sprouted Bread from Dave's Killer Bread.
Part of my intention in founding Love Wild Live Free was to help create access for all to healthy, plant-based recipes and meal-time inspiration. I want to show the world that the vegan lifestyle is something that anyone can do, on any budget. I invite you to join me on this journey, as I continue to spread the message of veganism (and good food) to kitchens across Toronto. And, as a thank you to my readers for all of your support, I am offering a special promo code "LOVENOMS" for $5 off your first order!
Another reason why I am so excited about being able to offer my recipes through Let's Nom is that as a young professional there have been more times than I can count where I've come home late from work, super hungry, and not really feeling like searching through my fridge to throw together dinner. I know that this is the reality for most people who are busy with school, their kids, work and everything in between. On my busiest days, knowing that I have all of the ingredients pre-portioned to make a heathy dinner is a huge relief, because let's face it, takeout gets old after a while. Plus, the ingredients provided with all of my recipes are mostly organic and free of animal products, so you can feel good about these dishes. My recipes are also really simple to make - we've broken all of the steps down on easy to follow recipe cards. Best of all, they don't take much time at all to prepare.
The ingredients for each recipe come pre-portioned in single servings, and quantities are completely customizable if you need multiple portions. Pre-portioned ingredients means that there's absolutely no food waste. You might be surprised to learn that food waste is a significant environmental issue, but it's something that is not commonly talked about. Households in Canada on average waste $28 worth of food each week ($1,456 annually)* and approximately 80% of consumer food waste was once perfectly edible.** Wasted food, is wasted money. The beauty of pre-portioned ingredients is that you can avoid the problem of finding produce rotting in the back of your fridge, that you had every intention of cooking, but your busy schedule got in the way.
