If you’re in the Aventura or Sunny Isles area and looking for organic fresh juices, delicious smoothies and delectable acai bowls then Raw Republic Micro Juicery has you covered. This local gem is located at 20804 Biscayne Boulevard which is about 2 minutes away from Avenura Mall, making Raw Republic the perfect stop to fuel up if you’re in the mood for a shopping trip.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to meet one of the co-owners Zachary Stein who was mixing up a storm behind the counter, making some of the most decadent smoothies and acai bowls that I have ever tried. Zachary shared the story of the how Raw Republic came to be as he served me some of his best-selling menu offerings.
Raw Republic evolved with Zachary’s two cousins Jordan and Jesse. The trio recognized all the benefits that consumers were seeing from healthy juices, vegan smoothies and raw foods. The combination of their experience in the restaurant industry and all of their entrepreneurial mindsets was the perfect recipe for the three to team up and provide a healthy fast food alternative in the Southern Florida community. Raw Republic quickly gained a strong following, notably on Instagram with their #JoinTheRepublic hashtag. In-store they’ve even got a display of posts from their Instagram followers who have captured their Raw Republic post-worthy bowls and drinks. These business partners strive to work with non for profits and charity organizations all the time. They are also big advocates on supporting local businesses and trying to find ways to co-market together through their business.
Their most popular item is their signature organic juice cleanse which offers 6 cold-pressed juices per day. The cleanse is customizable in that the length of the cleanse is tailored to the customer’s preference. Having tasted many of the juices offered by Raw Republic, I have to say that for me, the most memorable cold-pressed juice was their pure coconut water made with fresh young coconuts - I absolutely loved the rich coconut flavour and the addition of fresh coconut pieces. It is definitely a must-try in my books.
Raw Republic’s most popular acai bowl is the PB&A which consists of acai, banana, almond milk, and peanut butter blended together, topped with sliced banana, granola, and cacao nibs. I had this bowl during my visit and not only did it taste like dessert, but, it was also incredibly refreshing and super nutritious. If you’re looking to try out a smoothie, the most popular smoothies are the coconut twister which consists of almond milk, banana, peanut butter, coconut oil, and spirulina, as well as the MIA Tea Party which has green tea, spinach, cucumber, green grapes, chia seeds, pineapple, and honey.
Raw Republic’s menu has recently expanded and they have now started offering raw salads, raw protein bars, and raw pad thai, with more menu offerings in the works. Zachary shared with me that he is very excited to announce that Raw Republic is expanding with franchises and that he and his business partners are currently hand selecting people to represent the brand. They continue to get inquires every week, so stay tuned for new locations.
And as for their secret menu…you just have to ask!
