Why Microwaving Your Food is Just Plain Stupid and Dangerous

Get ready to have your mind blown because today I'm featuring an eye-opening article by guest writer and truth seeker Shane Tyler Milson of the TheRawNakedTruth. Have you ever considered the microwave in your kitchen to be a health risk? There are more and more reports coming out everyday revealing the true dangers of microwaves and the threat they pose to your health. The risks associated to microwave use have been something that I have been aware of for many years and I want to share this information with you because these risks are still relatively unknown. The ideas in this article are not widely accepted, likely because it is both uncomfortable and scary to think that we take for granted that an appliance that is so commonly used could actually be harming us. 

My intention in sharing this article with you is to provide a counter viewpoint that, regardless of whether you agree or disagree, will hopefully cause you to think critically and perhaps prompt you to conduct your own research and discover your own truth as it relates to this topic. Personally, I have not owned a microwave in my home since at least the year 2000 because of many of the reasons listed in this article. Hold up, I can anticipate your next question, how do I warm my food? I've been asked this question for at least a decade and my answer is simple, I take the extra time to re-heat food over the cooktop or in my mini-convection oven that has similar options available, like heat and defrost - I typically set my mini oven to about 350° F when I  want to reheat my food. Or, if I am in a rush or wanting to be more environmentally conscious, I will even eat my food cold!


Every time I see someone pop their luke-warm coffee in the little box, or better yet, last night’s GMO special into the microwave, I take a firm 5 steps backwards.

You see, this is because of the harmful electromagnetic frequencies being emitted from it …you know, the ones that are directly and firmly linked to causing Leukemia (according to Powerwatch, a non-profit independent organization with a central role in the microwave radiation debate) and brain tumors, not to mention low cognitive functioning aka, your brain isn’t firing on all cylinders.

So I take 4 steps back for the EMF relief, and the last step is to protect me from the swinging fists of the oh, so, deadly, un-teachable ones who simply cannot accept the truth about what their microwave really does.

So let’s all take a step forward for humanity and seek the truth on what microwaves are really all about…

The Health Dangers Caused By Microwaving Your Food

If you’ve got a baby near by, cover their ears ..this is the equivalent of cursing in their presence. In 1989, the respected medical journal The Lancet reported that microwaves changed trans-amino acids in baby formulas into harmful toxic chemicals. The author of the report, Dr. Lita Lee, concluded that microwaving baby formula turns that baby formula into a toxic mixture that will harm them.

  • Lowered resistance to bacterial and viral infections
  • Cataracts
  • Birth defects for your unborn infant
  • Cancer (all forms)
  • Many other serious illnesses
  • Insomnia, night sweats, and various sleep disturbances
  • Headaches and dizziness
  • Swollen lymph nodes and a weakened immune system
  • Impaired cognition (your brain gets dumb)
  • Depression and irritability (yes, you’ve been irritable lately)
  • Frequent urination and extreme thirst (maybe not such a bad one, since most of you don’t drink enough water anyways …perhaps it’ll have you drinking H2O more often)

 

Say Goodbye to the Nutrients

Dr. Joesph Mercola says it quite eloquently in his article entitled “Why Did the Russians Ban an Appliance Found in 90% of American Homes?” …the name is telling enough…

“By now, you probably know that what you eat has a profound impact on your health. The mantra, “You are what you eat” is really true. But you need to consider not only WHAT you buy, but how you cook it. Microwaves heat food by causing water molecules in it to resonate at very high frequencies and eventually turn to steam which heats your food.

While this can rapidly heat your food, what most people fail to realize is that it also causes a change in your food’s chemical structure.

…some excellent scientific data has been gathered regarding the detrimental effects of microwaves on the nutrients in your food:

  • A study published in the November 2003 issue of The Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture5 found that broccoli “zapped” in the microwave with a little water lost up to 97 percent of its beneficial antioxidants. By comparison, steamed broccoli lost 11 percent or fewer of its antioxidants. There were also reductions in phenolic compounds and glucosinolates, but mineral levels remained intact.
  • A 1999 Scandinavian study of the cooking of asparagus spears found that microwaving caused a reduction in vitamin C6.
  • In a study of garlic, as little as 60 seconds of microwave heating was enough to inactivate its allinase, garlic’s principle active ingredient against cancer”

Not only does all food put into a microwave have it’s molecular structure radically altered, but the even very vessels containing the food are leaking toxic doses of chemicals including polyethylene terpthalate (PET), benzene, toluene, and xylene.

Whenever you microwave fatty foods in plastic containers, there is a major release of dioxins (known carcinogens) and other toxins which cuddled up tightly into the food you’re about to consume.

YUMM!!

The 6th Sense (Common Sense)

At this point the logical thinkers will know that there’s definitely more than plenty of reasons to throw away your lazy man box, but there will still be plenty of Skeptics that will magically erect their fantasy land physics and advanced electromagnetics degree, and start dropping terms and ratios consisting of GHz , ELF’s, Hz, mG’s and so on in the defense of using their microwaves to heat up their hungryman’s.

Here’s what I got to say to you brave Skeptics who painstakingly made it through my bad jokes, audicious references, and sexy article…

I invite you to consider what you are really defending, when you stand up for the microwave.

Please, for your family’s sake… consider the simple logic of it all.

This is not eating as nature intended and there are thousands of studies fighting both sides of whether microwaves are safe or not, yet the vast majority of the time, did you know that the studies defending microwaves are being funded by the people who have a lot to lose as the truth continues to come out?

Companies like General Electric have invested huge money in keeping their profits afloat and they will continue to try and squash this information from coming out.

I invite you Skeptics, the whole lot of you, to get more present and into your body, to experience how food affects your body, how it affects your moods and emotions, to tune into the cellar functioning of the food you consume.
